Belarus’ GDP up 7.9% in January-September

In January-September 2011 Belarus’ gross domestic product went up 7.9% over the same period of last year to reach Br186.7 trillion, BelTA learned from spokesperson of the National Statistics Committee Yelena Kondratenko.
In line with this year’s social and economic development forecast, Belarus’ GDP is supposed to increase by 9-10% in comparison with 2010.
In January-September 2011 the industrial output was up by 10.6% to Br206.7 trillion while the annual growth target is set at 9-9.5%. The share of innovative products in the total shipped volume reached 16.8% while the annual target is set at 12-13%.
In January-September 2011 fixed capital investments reached 114.9% as against the same period of last year, with the annual target at 116-117%.
