Export potential of grain crops 24-25 million tons this marketing year

Export potential of grain crops of Ukraine this marketing year 2011/12 makes up 24-25 million tons, Agrarian Policy Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said.
"Taking into consideration the forecasted data that we will gather over 50 million tons of grain crops, this allows us calculating that export potential of grain crops this marketing year will amount to 24-25 million tons," the Agrarian Minister said.
Prysiazhniuk reminded that transit stocks of grain crops of the previous season were 6.2 million tons.
The Minister also noted that this season it is planned to export from the country about 3 million tons of sunflower seed oil.
Over a season of 2010/11, production of grain crops in Ukraine was 39.6 million tons. Total export of grain crops of 2010 yield made up 12.1 million tons.
