EU will abolish subsidies for agricultural products supplied to Ukrainian market

The EU agreed to abolish subsidies for agricultural products supplied by European producers to Ukraine, Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said.
He noted that such an agreement was reached during the 18th round of negotiations on preparation of the free trade area agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
"We are the first country for which the EU made such concessions - removed all subsidies for agricultural products and foods made by European Union countries, which will be exported to our country," Mykola Prysiazhniuk said.
According to him, subsidizing of agricultural products for Ukraine in the EU countries will negatively influence competitiveness of agricultural products, made by Ukrainian producers.
