Stocks as well as global indices have performed well after decline of the previous week. The main question that concerns investors at the moment is whether it becomes a trend or is it just another volatility turn? The answer is blurry however there are several factors that contribute to the fact that growth will be a trend at least in the short-term perspective. First of all, European leaders finally made an official statement in Washington on Monday, September 26th that they will take major steps to overcome debt crisis in Europe and help Greece as this country has the biggest issues at the moment. Secondly, several European banks made statements that they will provide economy of Greece with credits at lower interest rates and will most likely extend the re-payment of the existing ones. Such decision was the result of a certain pressure from the side of European leaders. Finally, the third factor is rising commodity prices, including crude oil, gold and for UAIndex a particular interest is growth in prices of agricultural commodities: wheat, corn, soya, sugar. Important fact to remember is that major corporations are preparing their 3rd Quarter reports within several days and it is expected that those reports will be times better than earlier forecasts.
