Finance Ministry presents macroeconomic indicators for 2011

The draft state budget of Ukraine for 2011 envisages a deficit at the level of 3.08%, Minister of Finance Fedir Yaroshenko told a briefing Wednesday.
He noted that the revenues of the state budget for 2011 are planned at UAH 279 billion, expenditures at UAH 329 billion and deficit at 3.08%, exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar being 7.95.
GDP growth is expected at 4.5%; nominal GDP, according to the Finance Minister, will amount to 1 trillion 152 billion UAH; the consolidated budget is planned at 360 billion UAH; inflation is planned at 8.9%, payroll 390.8 billion UAH, profits of enterprises 218.3 billion UAH.
On Wednesday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law On State Budget of Ukraine for 2011. In two days, the document will be finalized, and on Friday, December 10, sent to the Verkhovna Rada.
While opening the government meeting Wednesday, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that the state budget for 2011 provides for a significant reduction in national expenditure and tax burden on the economy, as well as increase in the resource base of local budgets.
