Bankers, agricultural minister discussing further cooperation with China

A Ukrainian delegation consisting of Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Serhiy Arbuzov, Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk and Ukreximbank CEO Mykola Udovychenko arrived in Beijing on Monday to discuss the future prospects of cooperation with China in agriculture and strengthen inter-bank contacts.
The Ukrainian delegation is to hold meetings at the country's leading banking and financial institutions, in particular, at the People's Bank of China and the Export-Import Bank of China, as well as agricultural companies, including China National Agricultural Development Group Corporation, an UKRINFORM correspondent in China reported.
The contractual framework of Ukrainian-Chinese relations currently includes the following inter-bank agreements: on cooperation between the National Bank of Ukraine and the People's Bank of China dated December 4, 1995, between the National Bank of Ukraine and the People's Bank of China in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing dated October 13, 2003, and a framework agreement on cooperation between Ukreximbank and the Export-Import Bank of China dated October 18, 2002.
