Ukrainian grain exports climb 9%, according to UkrAgroConsult

Ukrainian grain exports have climbed 9 percent since the current marketing year began July 1, UkrAgroConsult said.
The country has shipped 2.6 million metric tons of grain, up from 2.385 million tons in the prior year, the Kiev-based agriculture-commodities researcher said in an e-mailed report today.
Deliveries in September’s first 13 days came to 468,000 tons, including 315,000 tons of wheat, UkrAgroConsult said, citing information from ports. Wheat went to the European Union, Tunisia and Egypt, while barley shipments of 153,000 tons went to Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan, it said.
