ECB to provide $575 mln to 2 eurozone banks

The European Central Bank on Wednesday said that it will provide $575 million to two banks in a seven-day dollar tender operation. The fixed rate for the dollar tender will be 1.1 percent.
The latest operation is expected to ease pressures in the U.S. dollar funding markets. On August 17, the central bank had alloted $500 million to a single bidder.
