On Tuesday, September 13, 2011, Greece’s Prime Minister George Papandreou promised to greatly speed up public sector cuts as well as blanket taxation in order to help budget shortfall. The conversation was held between Mr. Papandreou and German and French Leaders, as they are the main investors for Greece. Potential default of Greece was the major reason for shortfall in financial markets yesterday as well. China, on the other hand stated that the country is ready to help with investments in Europe, especially in case radical measures are taken (hint: in case Europe acknowledges China as a free market economy. At the same time Chinese Prime Minister expressed his suggestion for EU and U.S. to deal with their domestic problems at first.

UAIndex has shown slight increase as its performance was slightly more affected by the performance of Ukrainian agroholdings rather than just global situation.
