China's economy will not suffer a hard landing, instead will see a relatively faster growth, China's Vice President Xi Jinping said Friday.
Speaking at the U.S.-China Business Dialogue with visiting U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, Xi said that the U.S. economy is highly resilient and has a strong capacity for self-repairment.
Xi reiterated that Beijing will continue its prudent monetary stance, while keeping the policy stable, more targeted and flexible. Meanwhile, China's Xinhua news agency quoted Xi as saying that the current worsening turbulence in the international financial market and in the recovery of the world economy has led to new challenges for economic recovery and operation of individual businesses.
