Foreign trade surplus of enterprises run by the Belarusian Industry Ministry reached $1,312.9 million in H1 2011, up 53% from H1 2010, the Ministry’s press service told BelTA.

The growth rate of export is ahead of the growth rate of import by 8.9 percentage points. In January-June 2011 Industry Ministry enterprises exported $3,314.2 million worth of commodities, 44.1% up from January-June 2010.

BelTA has been told that in H1 2011 the growth rate of labor productivity in terms of physical volume amounted to 123.8% in state-run enterprises and joint-stock companies with the state share of over 50%. The figure for all the enterprises run by the Industry Ministry stood at 121.9%. In January-May 2011 the profitability of sales of industrial products reached 11.5% in state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies with the state share in excess of 50% and 11.1% in all the enterprises run by the Ministry.

In January-June 2011 fixed-capital investments in state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies with the state share in excess of 50% amounted to Br825.2 billion, 60.3% up from January-June 2010. The volume of investments in all the enterprises accountable to the Industry Ministry reached Br969.4 billion, 69.9% up.

In H1 2011 the energy-saving indicator totaled minus 6.6% with the exception of the organizations with the state share below 50%. The figure stood at minus 6.5% if all the enterprises are assessed.

In January-May 2011 net profit of the Industry Ministry enterprises totaled Br1,002.1 billion, more than 80% up from January-May 2010.
