Economic Development and Trade Ministry: Price growth stops in July

This July, the price growth stopped, First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Vadym Kopylov said.
In August-September, according to him, a seasonal fall of prices for food is expected. "This process has already started," Kopylov said.
This development of events gives a chance to keep to the annual inflation forecast, the official added.
According to the State Statistics Service, by results of this July in Ukraine deflation was fixed at 1.3%, inflation made up 4.6% since the year start.
To remind, the consumer price growth has slowed down in June against the previous month (0.8%) and was 0.4%.
Earlier, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry has lowered the inflation forecast by 0.3 percentage points to 8.9% in Ukraine in 2011.
