VAT automatically refunded with UAH 6.24 billion YTD

Since the beginning of the year, VAT has been automatically refunded to the amount of 6.24 billion UAH (1 USD - 7.97 UAH), the State Treasury informed. This is 24.5% of the total payments.
In July, the amount of the automatic VAT compensation fell to 1.742 billion UAH, which is nearly 0.5 billion UAH less than a month earlier.
As a result, the share of the automatic tax refunds dropped from 52.5% in June to 39%.
As reported, introduction of fully automatic VAT reimbursement by year-end is one of Ukraine's commitments to the IMF for drawing a new tranche of the loan.
