State budget revenues 23.9% up over seven months

Revenues of the Ukrainian state budget in January-July 2011 amounted to UAH 168.74 billion, which is 23.9% up against the same period of the previous year (USD 1/UAH 7.97), the State Treasury website reads.
According to the Treasury, revenues to the budget's general fund over seven months made up UAH 142.89 billion, which exceeds the previous year index by 30.5%. In addition, tax revenues to the budget's general fund over the reporting period made up UAH 131.07 billion, which exceeds the previous year index by 48.5%.
In January-July 2011, VAT was refunded to the amount of UAH 25.41 billion, including automatic VAT refund was made to 161 tax payers to the amount of UAH 6.2 billion, out of these, in July 2011 - to 138 tax payers to the amount of UAH 1.7 billion.
The state budget of Ukraine for 2011 expects the budget's revenue side at UAH 299.19 billion and the budget's spending - at UAH 337.63 billion. Maximum deficit was set at UAH 35.34 billion.
