"Uralkali" received 11.34% in Ukrainian "Ashdod"

Russia's leading fertilizer producer "Uralkali" received 11.34% in Cherkassy JSC "Azot". The share of " Uralkali " in the share capital of the Ukrainian producer of fertilizers has changed on July 29. Such event was possible due to the company's reorganization by merger with "Silvinit".
"Uralkali" and "Silvinit" announced the completion of merger on June 16, 2011. By May 24, 2011 Suleiman Kerimov owned 17.16% of the combined company, Alexander Nesis - 12.16%, Zelimkhan Mutsoev - 8.1%, Anatoly Skurov - 7.76%, Filaret Galchev - 10.3%.
Cherkassky "Azot" is one of the leading enterprises in Ukraine producing various chemical products. The staff of "Azot" has approximately 4500 professionals. The company's products are in demand in the CIS and many countries in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
