European Commission gives KBC green light to sell Polish assets

Belgian KBC got a European Commission approval for selling Polish assets: Kredyt Bank and insurer Warta, rather than trimming engagement on the Czech and Hungarian market, Kredyt Bank said in a market filing.
Warta and Kredyt Bank will be sold in separate processes, KBC said in its statement, attached to the filing.
The company is already noting "spontaneous signals" of interest from potential investors, KBC added.
