"Agroliga" buys agricultural company with 1.5K hectares

The group of companies "Agroliga" (Kharkiv region) July 26 signed an agreement to purchase the company with the land bank of 1.5K hectares in the Kharkiv region on July 26th. "Agroliga", the buyer will pay 0.5M EUR.
The company stated that the transaction will be financed form its own resources. "Agroliga" also reported that a meeting of shareholders is scheduled for August 22. The main topics of the meeting include increase of stockholders’ equity by 15%, up to 35,369KEUR and stock split at a ratio of 1:5 to par 0,02EUR.
It was reported that "Agroliga" operates on the Ukrainian market of agricultural products since 1992. Company is engaged in the cultivation of grain crops, sunflower seeds and dairy cattle. "Agroliga" handles more than 5.5 hectares of land in the Kharkiv region. In 2010 the company increased net profit by 2.3 times compared with 2009 up to 1,218M EUR and its income has doubled over the past year to 3,796M EUR.
