Ukraine's largest bankPrivatbank (Dnipropetrovsk) is considering several options for raising capital, particularly through the IPO. Such information was reported by the spokesperson of the financial institution AllaShorin.

“We carefully study the possibility of capital market to attract new foreign minority investors due to an increase in business. We are looking for ways of further development in order to continue growing and improving our services. One of the options is initial public offering, another one is the involvement of strategic or portfolio investors, "- stated Ms. Shorin, citing bank's management.

However, according to the spokesperson of PrivatBankas of yet it is premature to talk about specific plans and, especially, the timing of the implementation of any of the scenarios. Privatbank also confirmed that consideration of each option involved experts from leading international investment banks. "Attracting leading international experts in dealing with such issues is a standard practice," – as mentioned by AllaShorin.
