Romania's inflation dropped for first time in two years

Romania's consumer prices dropped in June by 0.3 per cent, compared to May, making the annual inflation rate 7.93 per cent, down from 8.41 per cent the previous month.
Food products prices dropped by 1.3 per cent - as especially potatoes were 2 per cent and dairy products 0.24 per cent cheaper.
Vegetable prices dropped by 12.3 per cent.
Fresh fruit prices were up by 2.19 per cent.
Prices have increased 2.75 per cent since the beginning of the year.
