Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Prime minister of Georgia discuss trade, economic cooperation

A complex of issues associated with the development of Ukrainian-Georgian trade and economic relations was discussed on Friday during a meeting in Tbilisi between the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Chairman of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Kostiantyn Hryshchenko and Prime Minister of Georgia Nikoloz Gilauri.
The meeting took place during the official visit of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister to Georgia, according to the information policy department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Hryshchenko and Gilauri exchanged views on the economic situation in both countries and the reforms being implemented. During the meeting, they also raised the question of prospects for cooperation in transport, energy and other sectors of mutual interest. The parties noted in this context the importance of the meeting in the fall of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, whose work will contribute to deepening the bilateral cooperation in many areas.
