NBP: Financial system is stable, but global markets situation poses risks

The acceleration of the economic growth in Poland has influenced the financial results' improvement in the banking sector in quarters of 2010, but serious risks still exist, threathening the financial system stability connected with the global macroeconomics situation, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) wrote in its "Financial Stability Report. July 2011". NBP's estimation shows that the current banking sector conditions improved vs. the situation, when the last report was published.
The central bank's analysts deem that one of the decisive risk factors for the financial system's stability is still the shaping of the macroeconomic situation, especially in countries, which are Poland's main economic partners.
