Belarus, Hungary to discuss economic cooperation

MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Bilateral cooperation in mutual trade and investment will be brought to the forefront of the second session of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Hungarian commission for economic cooperation. The session will take place in Budapest on 30 November, Andrei Savinykh, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, told a briefing on 25 November.
The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Foreign Minister Valery Voronetsky. The delegation comprises representatives of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Industry Ministry, Sports and Tourism Ministry, the Minsk Oblast executive committee, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MAZ, MTZ, Beleximgarant.
The session will highlight the issues of cooperation in industry, agriculture, tourism and transport. In particular, the participants of the meeting will talk over the prospects of setting up a company to assemble Belarusian buses in Hungary, MAZ participation in the tenders on acquiring buses for Hungarian public transport.
The Belarusian side will be interested in Hungary’s experience in comprehensive development and management of the tourist area near large basins.
Valery Voronetsky is expected to hold meeting in the State Assembly (Parliament) and the Foreign Ministry of Hungary.
