Ukraine will get USD 50 million from World Bank for modernization of state finances

The World Bank allocated USD 50 million to Ukraine for financing of measures for preparation of the Project on modernization of state finances, the press service of the Finance Ministry informs.
"Ukraine intends to spend a part of those funds to finance goods, works, accompanying services and consultation services, which will be purchased within the frames of this project. Co-financing of the project will be carried out by the Finance Ministry of Ukraine," the statement reads.
Services will include advisory support of the Finance Ministry and the State Treasury of Ukraine, which will be extended by the long-term individual consultant, in development and implementation of integrated information system for management of state finances on the basis of up-to-date information-telecommunication decisions; management of the project; measures on management of changes; wide training of personnel.
It is expected that the signature of the contract and the start of the task fulfillment will occur in July 2011.
