EBRD's investment in Ukraine could exceed EUR 600 m by this autumn

The amount of funds invested by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Ukrainian projects has reached EUR 320 million since the beginning of 2011, EBRD's principal adviser in Ukraine Anton Usov has said.
He said that this amount could at least double by the end of this summer, UKRINFORM reported, with reference to the Mirror of the Week. Ukraine publication
The EBRD is planning soon to sign an agreement on the provision of a EUR 110 million loan to Galnaftogaz and issue two more loans in the engineering and agricultural sectors, totaling EUR 115 million.
In mid-July 2011, the EBRD Board of Directors will consider six more projects. In the second half of the year, the bank may also allocate two loans worth EUR 200 million each for the needs of government agencies - Ukravtodor and Ukrhydroenergo.
