Government improves economic outlook for 2011

The Cabinet of Ministers changed the basic forecast macro indicators of economic and social development of Ukraine in 2011. The relevant decision was made public on the government portal.
Growth of the gross domestic product increased to 1.291 trillion UAH (1 USD - 7.97 UAH), an increase of 38 billion UAH on the previous version. GDP growth over the previous year amounted to 4.7% (instead of the previously approved 4.5%).
Consumer price index (December to December 2010) remained at the same level of 8.9%. Industrial production price index (December to December of previous year) increased to 17.9% (instead of 11.3%).
