The Party of Regions considers Russia's position on the price of natural gas a pressure on Ukraine. Party of Regions' MP Vladyslav Lukianov said on TV Channel 5.

Lukianov described as pressure Russia's proposals on Ukraine's entry into the Customs Union or unification of the Ukrainian Naftogaz with Russia's Gazprom in exchange for cheaper gas.

He believes this format of negotiations inadmissible.

Lukianov declared that he was a supporter of joining the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, but because of the tone of the negotiations in Moscow on May 7, he changed his position.
