Moscow, Kiev agree on economic cooperation until 2020

Prime Ministers of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Nikolai Azarov, have approved a joint program for economic development up to the year 2020.
Addressing a meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian committee for economic partnership which preceded the signing ceremony, Mr. Putin stressed that the two countries saw the volume of mutual trade increased by 70% from the pre-crisis level.
Putin added that Moscow would like Ukraine to join the Customs Union comprising Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan to open new horizons for successful economic cooperation between the neighboring states.
