Ukrainian export of goods, services 43%, import - 54.4% up in Q1 2011

Export of goods and services from Ukraine in Q1, 2011, amounted to USD 18.567 billion, import - to USD 19.769 billion, which is respectively 43% and 54.4% up against previous year indexes, the State Statistics Service informs.
Export of goods and services to CIS countries made up USD 6.820 billion, import - USD 9.408 billion; export to other countries - USD 11.7471 billion (including to the EU countries - USD 5.1187 billion), import - USD 10.360 billion (to the EU countries - USD 5.882 billion).
Goods in the export structure made up USD 15.382 billion, import - USD 18.516 billion; services - USD 3.185 billion (export), USD 1.253 billion (import).
Earlier, it was informed that a negative balance of foreign trade in goods and services in Q 1, 2011, amounted to USD 1.201 billion against positive balance of USD 180.6 million in January-March last year, when export was USD 12.979 billion, import - USD 12.799 billion.
