Ukraine boosts investment abroad

Direct investments from Ukraine to other countries in the 1st quarter of 2011 totaled $6,920.6 billion, according to the State Statistics Service.
Thus, the volume of direct investments grew by 1.8%, compared to $6,793.2 billion in January-March 2010.
The largest volume of direct Ukrainian investments went to Cyprus - $6.379 billion ($6.346,4 billion a year earlier), Russia - $201.3 million ($169.5 million), Latvia - $85.8 million ($30.2 million), Poland - $50.7 million ($49 million).
