Statistics committee reports 0.1% GDP growth in Q3/2010

Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2010 increased by 0.1% after the second quarter of 2010 with a seasonal factor taken into account, the State Statistics Committee has reported Monday.
In comparison with the third quarter of 2009, GDP at constant prices of 2007 stood at 103.5%.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that Ukraine's GDP in January-September 2010 advanced by 5% after 15% drop in 2009.
The state budget for 2010 provides for 3.7% rise in GDP.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) improved their forecasts for GDP growth in Ukraine in 2010 from 4% to 5% and 4.1% to 4.5%, respectively.
Fitch Ratings forecasts GDP may grow this year by 5% level.
