Total direct foreign investments 6.4% up

Total direct volume of foreign investments to Ukraine over nine months of 2010 grew by 6.4% tо USD 42.511 billion, the State Statistics Committee informed.
USD 2.552 billion came from the EU countries (74.6% of total volume), from the CIS countries - USD 492.700 million (14.4%), from other world countries - USD 378.100 million (11.0%).
At the same time, non-residents' capital reduced by USD 628.100 million.
Investments have been made mainly in the form of money contributions, making up USD 3.186 billion (93.1% of the invested volume), and contributions in the form of movable and immovable property - USD 194.500 million (5.7%).
At the same time, direct investments from Ukraine to the economy of the world countries, with taking into consideration the rate difference and loss of capital, as of October 1, made up USD 6.851 billion, including to the EU countries - USD 6.538 billion (95.4% of total volume), to the CIS countries - USD 217.500 million (3.2%), to other world countries - USD 95.300 million (1.4%).
