Russia past the crisis – Medvedev

Russia is past the global crisis without a major negative impact on it in terms of employment or development trends. The shortfalls in the period since the latest presidential elections in 2008 include poor progress in improving life and creating a modern business environment.
President Medvedev was speaking about this in Skolkovo Wednesday in a televised Q&A session about his years in office.
He boasted achievements in foreign policy, which he said had helped Russia defuse tensions in relations with many countries.
