Japan to restore post-quake economy

The Japanese Cabinet has adopted a programme of changes to be made to the nation’s strategic development plan following the devastating earthquake on March 11th and the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident.
The policy provides for major change in economic and social development to speedily restore the country.
Japan will also revise its strategy for nuclear power production.
Tokyo will now lay emphasis on the safety of facilities and will end the country’s overreliance on nuclear energy.
