GUS revises GDP growth downwards to 3.8% in 2010, 1.6% in 2009

Poland's Gross Domestic Product in fixed prices of previous year amounted to 3.8% in 2010 vs. earlier estimated 3.9%, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) has said. GUS has also altered the 2009 growth - to 1.6% from 1.7% estimated in April, 2010.
In nominal terms GDP was PLN 1,415.39bn vs. PLN 1,343.37bn, respectively.
In 2010, gross added value in the national economy grew by 3.3% y/y; in the industry - it rose by 9.3%, and in the construction sector, it rose by 3.9%, and in the market services sector, it rose by 1.4%.
