PM Azarov: Ukrainian economy rises 5% in first four months 2011

The Ukrainian economy in the first four months of 2011 has shown a 5% growth, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a Cabinet meeting Wednesday.
"During the four months of this year the economy has shown growth of around 5%, the state budget revenues compared to last year have also increased," the prime minister emphasized.
On April 20 Azarov said that gross domestic product (GDP) for the first quarter of 2011 rose by more than 5%.
Last week, the Ukrainian premier reported the country's gold and foreign currency reserves reached a historical high at about USD 37 billion.
