In 2010, the Russian-German trade turnover increased 30% to 40 billion euro, the Chairman of the board of the Russian-German Foreign Trade Chamber Michael Harms said Tuesday.
According to him, the last 15 years significant progress has been made in the Russian legislation, which facilitates economic cooperation.
But corruption, custom procedures and the visa regime between Russia and the EU still hamper this cooperation, he added.
Harms stressed that the German business community is looking forward to Russia’s early entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO).
