Ukraine decreased output of agricultural products by 1.2%

During January-October of 2010, the general output of agricultural products in Ukraine decreased by 1.2% compared to the same period of 2009, including agricultural enterprises – up 0.1%, and households of the population – down 2.02% compared to the previous year level, declared the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine on November 9.
In particular, Odessa and Cherkasy oblasts showed the largest growing rates of agricultural products output – up 8.4% each, Kharkiv oblast faced the largest fall of agricultural products output – down 14.1% compared to the same period of 2009.
