Russia:the pace of the Russian beet planting is backward

The Sugar Manufacturers Association in Russia indicated that the Russian farmers had cultivated 429,200 hectares of beet up to April 25. It was about 1 million acres. The work of beet planting had been completed about 37% of the planed area.
The association pointed out that the pace of the Russian beet planting fell behind about 30% until now compared to 616,000 hectares in the same period last year. At that time the work of beet planting had been completed about 60% of the planed area.
