Core inflation slows to 0.9% in October

Core inflation in Ukraine slowed to 0.9% in October 2010, compared to 1.5% in September 2010, the State Statistics Committee has reported.
Core inflation in October 2010 against December 2009 totaled 6.5%.
In October 2010, inflation slowed to 0.5%, compared to 2.9% in September 2010 and 1.2% in August 2010. The producer price index in October 2010 against September 2010 rose by 2.4%.
Inflation has reached 7.9% since the beginning of this year, compared to 10.1% in the same period in 2009.
