The Verkhovna Rada has made amendments to some laws on providing government support for agricultural development.
The new legislation includes provisions under which the Cabinet of Ministers carries out the state regulation of grain market through a mechanism of licensing of grain exports (imports) and its products, including through the setting of quotas (quantitative or other restrictions), whose distribution is carried out by selling at auction. The proceeds obtained from the sale of quotas at auction will be channeled to support agriculture.
