EBRD and IFC announce new agricultural credit program

EBRD and IFC announced that they jointly plan to develop a new financial instrument for agriculture. The instrument in use since 1994 in Brazil allows farmers to pledge their future crop as collateral. To implement the instrument requires regulatory changes in Ukraine and the two international financial institutions are currently working on these changes.
