The plan that will be implemented under a project of the Dutch aid program, PUM Netherlands Senior Experts, will help unite farm producers in Rivne region with processors and exporters.

The PUM executive manager said that such activities had been modeled by foreign experts at the request of Rivne Regional State Administration, in accordance with a local concept of sustainable development, "The Western Gate."

First and foremost, the issue concerns the marketing of finished dairy, meat and forest products (mushrooms and berries). Their high grade and environmental cleanliness should be ensured by modernized production facilities that will get foreign investment. Capital will be injected into logistics centers, a distribution network and a quality system that must be certified in line with international standards.

The intensive sale of goods will be promoted by a trade and transportation center that is to be created near Rivne airport.
