Interbank exchange rate is back to 13.5 UAH/USD

According to data, presented by Minfin, Ukrainian National Currency Hryvnya (UAH) reached its peak in October at sell price of UAH 13.5 per US dollar. Rate had been stable at 13.3 UAH/USD since September 23, 2014 with a slight declining tendency. End of Parliament elections along with rise in activities in the East of Ukraine might have factored in to the new upwards trend. It might also indicate growth in demand for foreign currency in the nearest future.
