Belarus' GDP up 1.5% in January-September

In January-September 2014 Belarus' GDP totaled Br544.2 trillion, up 1.5% from the same period last year, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
Over the nine months the labor productivity of the gross domestic product reached Br105.6 million, up 3% over the same period a year earlier.
In January-September the industrial output went up by 1.2% over the same period of 2013 to Br497.5 trillion. The figure in September reached Br57.8 trillion, up 2.3% as against August 2014 and 8.4% in comparison with September 2013.
In January-September agricultural production increased by 3.3% on the same period in 2013 to Br96.5 trillion.
The share of innovative products in the total volume of merchandise shipped in January- September 2014 was 14.4%. Capital investments totaled Br149.6 trillion.
Over the nine months a total of 3,977.2 million square meters of housing was commissioned, up 7.5% from January-September 2013.
The wholesale trade reached Br401.3 trillion (up 10.2% from January-September 2013), retail trade made up Br224 trillion (9%).
