Agroliga’s winter crops planting area is 56% up from the previous year

According to the official information, released by the company on its official website, Agroliga increased planted area by 1 000 hectares, having constituted 2 800 hectares in total. Winter wheat was planted on the total area of 2 000 hectares, barley – on 200 hectares and winter rape – on 600 hectares. Company also reported results on experimental sowing of sunflower and corn, having reached company record 43.5 c/ha on average. Agroliga determined lack of moisture as the main hindrance for the further increase of crop, therefore aiming to implement the project for irrigation of fields allocated for corn and legumes in 2015.
