Kazakh manufacturers to export $7 mln worth of goods to Uzbekistan

Kazakh manufacturers who are now on a trade mission Tashkent have sealed contracts to sell goods to Uzbekistan totaling $7 million in value, Kaznex invest, a national agency for export and investment, says in a press release.
The Kazakh producers will export transformers, wheat flour, dry pack mortar and medical goods.
The trade mission is made up of representatives of 17 Kazakh companies operating in the engineering, oil and gas, chemical, construction, pharmaceutical and food industries.
In 2013, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan amounted to $ 2.1 billion or an increase of 6.7% compared with 2012.
Kaznex Invest was created on April 2, 2010 to develop and promote non-resource exports and attract foreign investors.
