During January-June Ukraine attracted US $1.3 bn and lost US $8 bn of foreign investments, reported the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine.
“The war in the east of Ukraine is the main factor restricting access of the foreign companies to the capital market in Ukraine and increasing risks to an unacceptable level. The statistics in H1 is somewhat modest, Ukraine has managed to attract US $1.3 bn. In addition, we have to admit considerable outflow of investments from Ukraine – around US $8 bn,” informed head of the agency Serhiy Yevtushenko.
