According to the statement made by General Director of KSG Agro Sergey Mazin to Polish Polska Agencja Prasowa (PAP), KSG Agro is considering possibility of selling assets in Crimea due to current geopolitical situation. Company will complete harvesting campaign of winter crops on the peninsula, however will not be initiating sowing campaign aside from 2.2 thousand hectares of corn. The rest of the land will stay untouched. Company Director mentioned that such decision is also attributed to difficulties with water supplies as noted recently. It is worth noting that company’s website suggests absence of operations in Crimea. It had also been announced that company made a decision to suspend USD 54 million worth investment program, previously planned to be implemented during 2014.
