Trade turnover between China and Vietnam reached over 12 billion US dollars in the first quarter of 2014, said Vietnam's General Statistics Office (GSO) Thursday.
Accordingly, in the first three months of 2014, Vietnam's export revenue to China stayed at 3.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 30.2 percent year-on-year, ranking fourth among its foreign markets after the United States, the European Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
China remained the country's major source for imports during the period, with some 8.3 billion US dollars worth of goods sold to Vietnam, up 11.8 percent year-on-year.
During the three-month period, Vietnam's total trade revenue hit around 65.7 billion US dollars, said GSO.
