According to the official information released by the company on its official website, one of the companies controlled by a manager of the Kernel group of companies, acquired total of 50 000 shares in Kernel Holding S.A. at an average price of 23.0 PLN per share during the period from 12 March to 14 March 2014. Company was notified in accordance with Art. 160 of the Act of Trading in Financial Instruments.
“We think that the purchase will be quite beneficial for the new holder of the shares” – commented Alex Morgun, financial analyst of UkrArgoConsult. While it is a very risky period to engage in purchase Ukrainian companies’ shares due to obvious political, economic and financial risks, there is enough evidence to support the fact that the purchase made to today will be highly beneficial in the future. The price per share of Kernel today is at an all-time low, as closing prices for March 12, 13 and 14 were PLN 23.20, 23.90 and 24.0 respectively. Given the fact that stated purchase price by company’s management is below minimum for these three days makes this purchase only that much better. We expect for holding’s share prices to gain back its average PLN 30-40 per share as soon as conflict in Ukraine is over. Considering the fact that Kernel remains amongst top-traded companies on Warsaw Stock Exchange, it almost certainly guarantees approximately 100% on the purchase made. We also see how this purchase could be used by the company as a measure against potential future share price drop.
